The Kadarka is the temperamental prince among red wines. It only develops properly under the greatest care and dedication. Spicy, initially sour cherry, then increasingly more blackberry jam both on the nose and palate. Clearly a Kadarka with a serious style, thick, complex body, and beautiful acidity. Long, gradual finish with cherries at the end. It is suitable for solo consumption but also plays an important role in gastronomy. Due to its elegance, it pairs well with roasted vegetable dishes, lightly roasted meats, medium-weight dishes prepared with plenty of vegetables, ratatouille, potato gratin, lasagna, meatballs in tomato sauce, and goulash soup, as well as all lighter Hungarian dishes.
