About 6 pieces of this rich nut cover the daily selenium requirement. This is a good supplement, as Swiss soils and the foods produced from them tend to be low in selenium. 100 g of Brazil nuts contain an average of 250 micrograms of selenium (450% of the reference amount NRV).
