When Franco Scamperle had to take over the management of the estate from one day to the next as a freshly graduated oenologist after his father's serious work accident in the late eighties, Le Salette was a completely unknown winery that produced only a few bottles of Amarone La Marega alongside Valpolicella and Recioto. Since then, he has implemented his modern and innovative ideas and continuously improved the quality of his wines.
