La Tunella Schioppettino Selenze Colli Orientali del Friuli DOC

Fifty years ago, Grandfather Min laid the foundation, which Father Livio Zorzettig built upon. Massimo and Marco Zorzettig, who, along with their mother Gabriella, uphold the family tradition, continue the story with their winery La Tunella. They and their invaluable team, including the excellent oenologist and friend Luigino Zamparo, harmonize innovation and experience, new developments, and the proven tradition of the Colli Orientali del Friuli. The 70 hectares of the La Tunella estate are entirely located in the D.O.C. cultivation area and are planted with vines in a ratio of 70:30, meaning 70% for white wines and the remaining 30% for red wines. The hilly terrain of the Colli Orientali consists of a mixed soil of sandstone and marl (locally known as "ponca") and is characterized by a particularly favorable and uniquely exceptional microclimate.
