The dark version of the classic tartufo dolce is made with a high proportion of cocoa and finely crushed Piedmont hazelnuts, whereby the intense cocoa flavour dominates. The name tartufo comes from its visual resemblance to a sliced Alba truffle. The ideal tartufo with a coffee.
