Behind this cigar brand is the Levin family, which has been responsible for the production and distribution of the Dominican Ashton cigars at Arturo Fuente for decades. In addition to these, the Nicaraguan Paradiso cigars and La Aroma del Caribe cigars are also part of their portfolio, crafted at the renowned Tabacalera My Father Cigars by Pepin Garcia.

Flavor-wise, the Aroma del Caribe Reserva cigars start with a light sweetness, accompanied by earthy, spicy, and woody notes. As the smoking progresses, they increasingly develop chocolatey and earthy flavors. The dark, rustic Mexican wrapper occasionally requires minor touch-ups when relighting, but overall, the construction and draw resistance are top-notch. The deep red and gold design of the cigar band perfectly complements the bold, dark leaf and enhances the enjoyment with its appealing appearance.

For the wrapper, Ashton uses a Mexican Oscuro leaf, while the binder and filler are made entirely from Nicaraguan tobacco.
