Since the Komminoth family pressed their first wine in Maienfeld in 1980, their enthusiasm for wines from the Bündner Herrschaft has remained unbroken. Year after year, the quality of the wines has been developed with great passion. Today, Komminoth is considered one of the best addresses in the Bündner Herrschaft. Currently, about 4.6 hectares of vineyard are cultivated. Paul Komminoth speaks about his wines and cultivation philosophy: "From the very beginning, I sought my own style. I vinify my plots separately and strive to create rich, robust wines that can also age. Each year has its own character, and I want to bring out the best in each one, through handwork, respect for nature, an intense relationship with the vines, and the preservation of healthy soil."
