The wine matures for 18 months in small and large wooden barrels. Before bottling, it is blended and then released for sale after six months of storage. The combination of the Lagrein and Merlot grape varieties results in a pleasant, full-bodied wine with a modern, elegant character. It pairs excellently with grilled meats, game, and spicy cheese.
