Product details
The winery was founded in 1896 in the municipality of Balavaud in the Lower Valais. Jean-René Germanier took over the winery from his father. Today, the estate is successfully managed by Gilles Besse, Jean-René's nephew. In recent years, the operation has been completely equipped with new cellar technology and forms a significant framework for Valais wine. Indigenous grape varieties such as Cornalin, Humagne, and Amigne have been part of Jean-René Germanier's program even before the hype around local and traditional products began.
