Product details

A fresh, balanced, light, and beautifully fruity pale yellow sparkling wine that bubbles quite intensely in the glass. Its rather powerful bouquet is dominated by aromas of apple, pear, and lemon, complemented by some exotic fruit (pineapple), minty notes, and hints of nutmeg. On the palate, it is lively and very fresh, showcasing a harmonious, fairly soft, and medium-bodied structure with strong effervescence. Alongside the fruit aromas, there are aspects of grass and the typical fine yeast notes. This Champagne is best enjoyed as an aperitif or with fine fish dishes. The Jacquart house is internationally appreciated by fine dining establishments, hotels, specialty retailers, theaters, and shipping and airline companies. Strengths such as a sense of tradition, vast expertise, and its own vineyards characterize the 600 winemakers who own Champagne Jacquart. They harvest the precious grapes from 800 hectares of vineyards, primarily located in the Montagne de Reims, Côte Blancs, and Vallée de la Marne. Jacquart impresses with a wide variety of a total of 130 crus, including 10 Grand and 22 Premier Crus, which delight with great finesse, richness of aromas, and mineral freshness. The Champagne region in northeastern France was the first area in the world to produce sparkling wine in larger quantities and is now synonymous with the highest product quality. The roots of the vines penetrate deep into the soil, which consists of calcareous sediments, providing optimal conditions for water retention. The best locations are found on the slopes of the region's characteristic hills. While a variety of grape types were grown in Champagne in the past, today the focus is mainly on Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier, and Chardonnay.
