Holden Manz Merlot Reserve

The grapes are hand-picked and individually selected to ensure that only the best fruits are used for the production of this wine. All fruits are fermented as whole berries in the barrel. The fermentation occurs spontaneously without the addition of commercial yeast. The wine is aged for 22 months before bottling, with 70% of the barrels being new French oak.

With a ruby-red core and a red rim, this excellent wine has a nose dominated by red cherries, complemented by subtle cedar, fynbos, and wild fig. The initial taste impression is marked by red cherries, followed by a complex palate and mocha in the finish. Softly rounded tannins with a slight tension in the aftertaste.
