Aigle les Murailles, this cult wine originates from a vineyard planted in 1838 on dizzying terraces. It benefits from a unique exposure to sunlight. This wine has its roots in a Clos. The famous painter Frédéric Rouge, born in Aigle in 1867, created a label for it in 1919. Already present on the label back then, the green lizard remains its symbol today. It also gave it the name Eidechsly-Wy in German-speaking Switzerland.
