Product details

Fresh, fruity, and expressive, the wine evokes aromas of apricots, nectarines, and peaches. On the palate, it reveals a seductive, elegant structure that is balanced, round, and smooth. In 1908, Henri Badoux, the future mayor of Aigle, founded the company of the same name. Since then, both he and his successors have continuously expanded the winery and showcased the diversity of the Vaud terroir. This pioneering spirit, passion, and conviction are the foundation for the cult brand Aigle les Murailles, followed by the collections Tradition, Lettres de Noblesse, La Maison du Lézard, Badoux 1908, and numerous creations such as Mille et Une Nuits or the Réserve de la Fondation du Château de Chillon.

The wine-growing region of Western Switzerland largely encompasses the French-speaking part of Switzerland, including the cantons of Geneva, Vaud, Jura, Neuchâtel, Fribourg, and parts of Bern, as well as the lower part of Valais, which accounts for about three-quarters of the total vineyard area in Switzerland. The predominant grape varieties are Pinot Noir, Dôle, Gamay, and Merlot for reds, and Chasselas for whites. The majority of the vineyards are located around Lake Geneva, where the main wine-growing regions can also be found. To the west, the La Côte region begins at Geneva and extends to the outskirts of Lausanne. Between Valais and La Côte lies Lavaux, which directly borders Chablais and stretches up to Sion. The Three Lakes region is located further north between Yverdon, Neuchâtel, and Vully.
