Barbera d’Asti Classico is vinified in cement tanks for optimal aging. The result is a simple yet generous wine that satisfies a variety of palates. It is a very versatile red wine that can be enjoyed as an informal aperitif or during a meal with rather simple dishes. The region of Asti, located between Langhe and Monferrato, is known in Piedmont not only for the famous Moscato but also for the production of Barbera.
