The wood aging, although moderate, is clearly expressed in the aroma and taste: notes of mocha and caramel, as well as roasted almonds, dried plums, and cherry jam can be discerned. The floral components, in the form of violet and magnolia scents, also come through beautifully. On the palate, it starts off soft and fruity, and it finishes with a pleasantly long aftertaste.
