Golan Heights Yarden Pinot Gris

The Yarden Pinot Gris is presented with notes of green apple, Nashi pear, lime, pomelo, white peach, and tropical fruits, balanced by a floral character. This attractive medium-bodied white wine offers a delightful taste, combined with freshness and drinkability. The Yarden Pinot Gris is made exclusively from Pinot Gris grapes grown in two vineyards in the northern Golan Heights. This variety, widely cultivated in Alsace, is also popular in northeastern Italy, where it is known as Pinot Grigio. About half of the wine is fermented in large oval oak barrels. Enjoy the wine within the first three years for maximum pleasure. It pairs best with grilled halibut in a delicious orange remoulade, roasted chicken, or a primavera risotto.
