Galil Mountain Winery Galil Alon

The Galil Alon presents rich aromas of plums, black cherries, and fresh berries. These delicate flavors are complemented by a hint of bright grass, along with notes of maple and browned butter. The wine is full-bodied, with balanced aromas and a pleasant, long-lasting finish. The Galil Mountain Winery is based on five vineyards in the region, which are situated between 430 and 800 meters in elevation. The inviting Galil Alon is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot. The wine undergoes malolactic fermentation and ages for a year in oak barrels. This elegant red wine can be enjoyed right after purchase, but it improves in the bottle over several years. Pair the wine with rich dishes such as filet mignon with a balsamic glaze, grilled lamb chops with garlic and basil, or with a smoked cheese of your choice.
