Multi-layered bouquet with notes of preserved Amarena cherries, blueberries, figs, plums, and fresh mint. Very complex yet refined spicy notes of pepper, cloves, star anise, cardamom, tobacco, and dark chocolate. On the palate, it is powerful with juicy acidity, plenty of fruit extract, and crisp tannins. It has excellent aging potential. This wine, made from over 80-year-old vines from a single vineyard, is only bottled in the best years.
