Eikendal Classique Wine of Origin Stellenbosch

Since 1981, the winery Eikendal Vineyards, located just a few kilometers outside Stellenbosch, has been owned by the Swiss Saager family. The climatic conditions, with the nearby Atlantic Ocean, and the terroir are top-notch. The ample organic matter and minerals in the soils at the foot of the Helderberg allow the grapevines to thrive, producing rich, robust, yet also complex and smooth wines. The focus during the winemaking process is on a considerate handling of the harvested grapes and a separate vinification of the individual parcels. Between 250,000 and 300,000 bottles of wine leave the 76-hectare estate each year.
