Product details
Since 1981, the winery Eikendal Vineyards, located a few kilometers outside of Stellenbosch, has been owned by the Swiss Saager family. The climatic conditions, with the nearby Atlantic Ocean, and the terroir are first-class. The ample organic matter and minerals in the soils at the foot of the Helderberg allow the grapevines to thrive, resulting in rich, powerful, yet also complex and smooth wines. The focus during the wine production process is on careful handling of the harvested grapes and separate vinification of the individual parcels. Between 250,000 and 300,000 bottles of wine leave the 76-hectare estate each year.
