Domaine Galuval - Moreau La Montagne Sélection Parcellaire Cru des Côtes-du-Rhônes Cairanne AOP

Domaine Galuval is nestled between the village of Cairanne and the village of Rasteau. Like its famous neighbors Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Vacqueyras, and Gigondas, Cairanne has been recognized as one of the Crus of the Côtes-du-Rhône since 2016. Domaine Galuval is one of the oldest wineries in the region, founded by the Marchal family in 1923. The name Galuval comes from the two words “Gallus” and “Uva,” connecting the proud rooster (Gallus) with the fruit of an ancient culture (Uva). The oenologist Emmanuel Couzi vinifies his wines in a very gentle and nature-oriented manner. He knows how to extract the best from the grapes, in harmony with the terroir and environment. As diverse as his methods are the soils on which the vines grow; there are three unique geological areas. From all three locations, true artists emerge. Each wine is unique and possesses its own identity.
