Preto or black like the compostable coffee capsules with a dark Arabica roast. The coffee owes its balanced flavour to the honey-processed preparation method. This makes Preto a wonderful coffee for every day - whether as an espresso, lungo or as a base for a latte.
Every Preto bean comes from the family-owned Fazenda Ipiranga.
Doing good for the environment: Preto coffee capsules are made from a material called PHB, which is naturally produced by microorganisms. PHB is not only neutral in flavour and provides an excellent oxygen barrier, it is also 100% biodegradable and can be made from organic raw materials. This means that the coffee capsules can be easily disposed of in home compost or in the organic waste bin.
