Mascobado is produced in the Philippines using a traditional method. As an unrefined sugar, it does not crystallize as uniformly as industrial white sugar. We import Mascobado directly from the Philippines through Alter Trade, a marketing organization supported by grassroots organizations. They organize the processing, packaging, and export of the whole cane sugar.
