100% Organic Arabica. Organic Single Origin from Ethiopia. This Fairtrade and organic Oromia coffee is made exclusively from the highest quality Ethiopian organic Arabica beans. An exquisite "Single Origin" from Ethiopia, specifically from the Oromia province, known as the cradle of coffee. The aromatic beans are roasted in small batches using traditional methods at the renowned coffee roastery La Semeuse in La Chaux-de-Fonds. The Oromia Coffee Farmers Cooperative Union in Ethiopia has been advocating for smallholder farming families since 1998. The union has taken on a leading role at the national level and is committed to organic farming, professional quality assurance, and improving education and drinking water supply. Claro Fairtrade guarantees farmers a living wage through minimum prices, partial pre-financing of the harvest, and long-term purchase agreements.
