The wine god Bacchus must be favorably inclined towards Christian Hermann: He is completely satisfied with the quality of his grapes. On a total of 4.3 hectares in Fläsch, in the Bündner Herrschaft region, he primarily cultivates Pinot Noir, but also Chardonnay. He likes to measure himself against the standards of the showcase regions for his main grape varieties, Burgundy. Since his first vintage in 1990, he has consistently pursued two goals with his work in the vineyard and cellar: His wines should have strong character, and there are no compromises when it comes to quality.
