Château Lafitte Côtes de Bordeaux AOC
1 x 75 cl, 2022, Minimum order 6Product details
The history of this winery in Bordeaux dates back to 1763. The current owner of the family business and the Bordeaux Crus, Philippe Mengin, succeeded his grandmother Juliette Mengin, who acquired the estate in 1970 and helped it gain international acclaim. The Château, located in the municipality of Camblanes-et-Meynac, in the heart of the Entre-deux-mers, benefits from its top-quality soil. What the terroir brings to the grapes is carefully preserved by Philippe Mengin and brilliantly showcased in the blends. The estate is advised by none other than the French star oenologist Michel Rolland. Château Lafitte demonstrates what can be achieved with around 50 hectares of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Cabernet Franc, especially with a consultant like him. The elegant, nuanced wines are a hidden gem among Bordeaux connoisseurs.
