Château Fleur de Lisse AOC St. Emilion
2020Product details
Château Fleur de Lisse, formerly known as Château Gaillard, was founded in 1952 by Jean and Simone Petit. Over the years, the vineyard area has expanded parcel by parcel. The estate has since been completely renovated, the vineyards restructured, and the cellar facilities modernized. In 2016, Patrick Teycheney, his wife, and his daughter Caroline purchased Château Fleur de Lisse as well as another château in the Saint-Emilion Grand Cru appellation. The two new estates were combined with another château that was already in the family. In honor of his granddaughter Jade, Patrick Teycheney has united the three estates under the name "Vignobles Jade." Château Gaillard has been discontinued in this structure. Starting with the 2020 vintage, the wine will carry the organic label on the label, as they are currently in the transition phase.

Instructions for use | Brilliant ruby red colour with violet reflections. Fruity and delicately scented, the wine reveals blueberries and strawberries on the nose, complemented by notes of violets and a hint of Sechuan pepper. The palate is full-bodied, round, with a sweet mellowness and wonderful fruit, with aromas of blackcurrants, wild blackberries, some liquorice and roasted coffee. The finely woven, very soft tannins only become noticeable on the finish. |
