Product details
In 1858, the Ducourt family settled in a château in the village of Le Hourc, located in the municipality of Ladaux, a small idyllic village in Entre-Deux-Mers, southeast of Bordeaux. The wine region Entre-Deux-Mers, translated as "between two seas," gets its name from the two rivers Garonne and Dordogne that border the area. Château de Beauregard is a historic estate that was acquired by the family in 1973. The vineyards benefit from a southern slope, which promotes the optimal ripening of the grapes. The Réserve de Famille Ducourt originally arose from the desire to create a great wine from the grapes of the best vineyard plots of the year. Due to demand, a bit more of the family reserve has been produced over the years, allowing selected Bordeaux lovers to also enjoy it.
