Château Carignan Chateau Carignan Prima Premieres Cotes de Bordeaux AOC

Château Carignan was built in 1452 alongside a Romanesque villa. Today, it is a 250-hectare estate with a vineyard area of 65 hectares. The exemplary Château, located 10 km outside the city of Bordeaux, was purchased in 1981 by its current owner, the Belgian Philippe Pieraerts. After extensive replanting and renovation of the 65 hectares of vineyards and the cellar facilities, the Château launched its first wine of a new generation in 1998, which quickly gained attention among merchants in Bordeaux due to its outstanding quality.
