On the nose, this Ripasso has aromas of hay, Amarena cherries, and dried cranberries. On the palate, it delights with characteristically sweet Ripasso notes reminiscent of cocoa, black cherries, Mediterranean herbs, and clove. It is opulent and dense, with slightly fuzzy yet velvety tannins, a well-balanced wine that exudes a hint of Amarone.
