Product details
Before developing the BX3, CAO already had experience with Brazilian tobacco varieties from the award-winning blends CAO Brazilia and Amazon Basin. It was understood that the rich soils of this region, which produce some of the most flavorful coffees in the world, bring a depth of flavor that adds an indescribable element to the tobaccos grown there.
With the BX3, CAO wanted to see how far they could push these flavors and how much exotic intensity could be brought to the table without neglecting the balanced profile for which CAO is known.
They started with a dark and oily Brazilian Mata Fina wrapper, which contributes a depth and intensity of flavor to the equation. Then they added a mild and slightly sweet, yet earthy Brazilian Arapiraca leaf to create a blend with another Brazilian Mata Fina leaf and the finest Nicaraguan, Honduran, and Mexican premium filler tobaccos.
Intense, but not overpowering.
The result is something CAO is proud of. A flavor profile that is intense yet not overwhelming. Perfectly strong in a way that highlights the depth of these flavor-rich tobaccos.
CAO says about the cigar: "When we set out to discover CAO BX3, we had only one goal: to create a bold Brazilian blend. And damn, we did it."
