Founded in 1958 as a cooperative from the merger of several Veronese winemakers, the Cantina Sociale now has about 300 member businesses and 600 hectares of vineyards. Here, primarily the indigenous varieties Corvina and Rondinella are cultivated under the controlled designation of origin of the Veronese hills.
