The Bosco del Merlo winery is owned by the Paladin winemaking family. It is located between Veneto and Friuli, near Venice and not far from the Adriatic Sea and the Dolomites. The family invests all their passion into nature. "An excellent wine is made first in the vineyards and in the cellar." Their production focuses on capturing the typical aromas of each individual grape in the bottle. Bosco del Merlo is an environmentally friendly agricultural operation. The name comes from old maps that reference the oak forests ("Bosco del Merlo" literally means "Forest of the Blackbird"), which remind these lands of ancient times. Carlo Paladin, one of the three owners, personally oversees the agronomic and oenological work.
