In the early 1980s, the Garcia hotelier family from Burgos acquired the old cooperative in Gumiel de Mercado. Their love for wine and the Ribera del Duero region played a significant role in this major commitment. Under the leadership of sisters Carolina and Yolanda, the business has risen to the top of the Ribera del Duero. On 100 hectares of vineyards, primarily Tinta del Pais (Tempranillo) is cultivated.
