When the name of the grandmother graces the label, the contents must surely meet her strict standards. Sió's noble maturation in barrels reveals notes of coconut, honey, and cigar box. A hint of rose and hibiscus, the impression of sun-ripened raspberries and rose hips, along with cinnamon and star anise, create its aromatic spectrum. Full-bodied, with a strong, balanced structure and pleasantly noticeable tannins, it presents itself as a wine with a pronounced Mediterranean character.
