Deep, impenetrable dark red. The bouquet is rich with spice, dark fruit, and a classic roasted aroma with a hint of coconut from the American oak. Very pure and intense. A voluminous wine, with plenty of extract sweetness and palate fruit, but also with silky elegant tannins and a refreshing fruitiness on the palate. A very successful combination of tradition and modernity. Pairs excellently with hearty meat dishes, Spanish jamón, and other tapas.
