Product details
The Rioja Alavesa is located in the south of the Basque province of Alava, nestled between the Cantabrian Mountains to the north and the Ebro River to the south. Almost 85% of the vineyard area is planted with the red variety Tempranillo, complemented by other red grape varieties such as Graciano, Garnacha (Grenache), and Mazuelo. The Madrid Castañeda brothers have realized their father Julián Madrid's dream with the construction of a new winery. Viña Diezmo, fantastic wines, showcases a different side of Rioja. With these products, they have received numerous awards both nationally and internationally, and their success seems to be ongoing. The flagship wine, Cofradía Reserva, was awarded an outstanding 93 points by Wine Spectator.
