Biotta Organic beetroot

Presumably, the Romans brought beets into our cultural landscape. At that time, beets were more varied in shape and color, being round, cylindrical, or even elongated; in white, yellow, and light red. It wasn't until the 19th century that the characteristic red color we know today was cultivated. The cultivation of beets also has a long tradition in Thurgau. In the fertile soils of the Lake Constance region, numerous organic beets grow and thrive. This vibrantly colored vegetable is gently processed into the natural Biotta beet juice.
