A fresh and light sparkling wine. Salmon pink color. Strongly foaming at the beginning then rather quickly decreasing perlage. Discreet bouquet. Some stone fruit (apricot) and berry aromas. In addition, slightly floral accents (rose, violet) and a little yeasty note. Powerful, persistent mousse on the palate. Slightly sweet on the nose. The structure is quite soft, of medium fullness and harmonious. Decent back aromatics as well. Some berry fruit, herbal/floral notes, light spice and some yeast. The finish was felt by the Degu team to be rather short. Apéritif. Shrimp/seafood. Asian dishes. Cheese Platter. Delea's extensive range reflects the full diversity of Ticino: connoisseurs will find the warmth and joie de vivre of Switzerland's southernmost canton in Delea wines. Angelo Delea founded his company in 1983, and was inspired by Bordeaux winemaking with refinement in carati (barriques) made of high-quality French oak from Allier and Nevers. The harvest of the 20 hectares of vineyards matures in them. The new impressive cellar houses the collection of noble wines, the most modern wine production and the distillery dating back to 1932, where the various grappas and fruit brandies are produced. Also part of the estate is the lovingly run Agriturismo Amorosa in Gudo-Sementina.
