A fresh, very sparkling, light ruby-red sparkling wine, briefly effervescent with a subtle bouquet of cherry, strawberry, as well as pineapple, melon, and dried fruits. On the palate, it is aromatic and sweet, harmonious and moderately fruity, with fine bubbles and flavors of rose and candies, along with a medium-length finish. An ideal aperitif wine that also pairs well with dessert. Angelo Delea founded his company in 1983, inspired by Bordeaux winemaking with aging in Carati (barriques) made from high-quality French oak from Allier and Nevers. Here, the harvest from the 20 hectares of vineyards matures. The new, impressive cellar houses a collection of fine wines, modern winemaking facilities, and the distillery from 1932, where various grappas and fruit brandies are produced. The estate also includes the lovingly managed agriturismo Amorosa in Gudo-Sementina.
