Alvi’s Drift 221 Special Cuvée

This is a particularly great vintage. Despite the late start to winter, the vineyard experienced abundant rainfall. This wine is made exclusively from grapes from this estate. They are carefully hand-selected in the early morning hours to ensure that cool, optimally ripe grapes make their way to the winery. Each variety of this cuvée is vinified separately. Only the best containers and barrels are used to create this unforgettable, elegant wine. It has an intense black cherry color with youthful purple hues. This wine is medium to full-bodied with a spicy nose that showcases rich, ripe mulberries, red cherries, and a hint of lavender. The fruit balances beautifully with the mild yet dense tannins on the palate, lingering with an impressive spicy finish.
