The grapes are hand-harvested from selected Pinotage vineyards. They are destemmed and crushed, cold macerated, and then fermented on the skins for a week. This wine consists of more than 30% barrel-aged Pinotage, with the remainder coming from stainless steel containers. It is fermented on oak chips to enhance its complexity.
Intense color of purple and black cherry. Inviting aromas, classic for this South African variety: blackberries, red cherries, dried banana, violets, and a hint of vanilla. Smooth and silky tannins, fully rounded on the palate with plenty of fruit that lingers.
