"A study by the renowned Statens Serum Institut (SSI) in Denmark investigated the reliability of various antigen rapid tests available on the market for the SARS CoV-2 variants, Delta, Strain SARS-CoV-2/hu/DK/SSI-H11 and Omikron Strain SARS-CoV-2/hu/DK/SSI-H46. The Flowflex SARS-CoV-2 rapid antigen test from Acon Biotech Co., Ltd. proved to be the most reliable SARS CoV-2 rapid antigen test in detecting the Delta and Omikron variants.
This study by the SSI confirmed results already obtained in a study conducted by the UK Health Security Agency on 17 December 2021, demonstrating excellent and reliable detection of the SARS CoV-2 virus variant Omikron. The same result is also confirmed by a study published on 22 December 2021, "Analytical sensitivity of seven SARS-CoV-2 antigen-detecting rapid tests for Omicron variant", by the Division of Infectious Diseases, Geneva University Hospitals.
