Wear the Xantus bracelet as a preventive measure, a deterrent, and a reminder to handle your drink with care. Here's how it works: Stir your drink. Dab a bit of liquid from the drink onto a test field and wait for about 2 minutes. If it turns blue or bluish, it contains GHB (date rape drug) – do not consume it and report it to the staff. If it does not turn blue or bluish, there is no GHB in the drink. With one Xantus bracelet, you can test two drinks. Use each test field only once. Protect the bracelet from rain and water while washing your hands. The test fields react with liquids of any kind and cannot be used again afterward. To ensure you (for your protection) can see that the field is no longer usable, it will change color upon contact with water. This means you cannot test water with Xantus for GHB.
