The Vitabase alkaline deodorant is a natural, refreshing product that cares for the skin while protecting against underarm moisture. It is completely free from aluminum salts and alcohol. Due to its alkaline properties, it helps to bind and neutralize acids through osmosis. The deodorant works by altering the environment of the armpit. The acidic sweat is buffered by the alkaline pH level. In this alkaline environment, bacteria find it difficult to thrive, preventing the sweat odor that originates from these bacteria.
