Bandage corresponds in cut and design to No. 3109 and has an additional Trans-Tex (TT) popliteal insert. The size of the insert is approx. 8 cm (H) x 10 cm (W) and covers the popliteal area; it causes a significantly higher mobility in the popliteal area due to reduced wrinkling; a perceptible loss of stabilization does not occur.
The Trans-Tex material allows water to pass through from the inside to the outside (sweat removal) without evaporative cooling. The range of application of the support is comparable to that of No. 3109, but extended for those patients who react negatively to compression, heat and moisture in the back of the knee or who require improved mobility of the knee joint, e.g. during sports activities.
