Suprasorb A Pro now contains cellulose fibers in addition to calcium alginate fibers. These fibers provide reinforcement and stabilization, enhancing the product's performance. When absorbing wound exudate, sodium ions are exchanged for calcium ions, creating a gel. This gel encapsulates bacteria and cellular debris while maintaining a moist wound environment. It is suitable for the treatment of acute and chronic wounds, whether they are heavily exuding, superficial, or deep.
