Strataderm is a silicone gel that specializes in the treatment of both fresh and old scars. It dries quickly and is non-sticky. Strataderm is used to make scars softer and flatter. It alleviates itching and discomfort associated with scar formation, and reduces redness as well as the risk of skin discoloration. Strataderm can be easily applied to all areas of the skin, including the face, neck, joints, and hairy areas, without the need for shaving. Strataderm can be applied to all types of scars, including those resulting from general and plastic surgery, trauma, chronic injuries, burns, lesions, acne, and other skin conditions.

Instructions for use | Make sure that the scar is clean and dry. Apply a thin layer of Strataderm to the scar and allow it to dry. If Strataderm has been applied correctly, it should dry in 3-4 minutes. If too much product has been applied, remove the excess with a clean cloth or piece of gauze and allow to dry. Once dry, sun creams or cosmetics can be applied to the Strataderm gel film and pressure or plaster casts can be applied. Strataderm should be applied to the affected areas once a day, twice a day on exposed areas, or as directed by your doctor. Best results are achieved when Strataderm is in continuous contact with the skin (24 hours/day, 7 days/week). This is a medical device, please read the instructions for use. |
