Soufrol Sulfur Oil Bath
Moisturizing bath additive with sulfur.
Soufrol, containing the sulfur compound Mesulfen, has anti-inflammatory and itch-relieving properties. The sulfur oil bath has a moisturizing effect. Soufrol Sulfur Oil Bath is suitable as a supportive measure for rheumatic conditions of the muscles. Sulfur therapy aids in rheumatic and muscular complaints as well as skin irritations.
History of Sulfur: Sulfur as a remedy was known in ancient Greece. It is mentioned in Homer's "Odyssey." Later, the Romans used sulfur, the Latin name, as an additive in mineral baths for those suffering from rheumatism, spreading the culture of healing baths and drinking throughout Europe. However, it was not until the rise of a wealthy bourgeoisie in the early 19th century that numerous spa towns emerged, many of which still exist today.
Importance of Sulfur in the Human Body: Sulfur is an essential element – the human body consists of 0.2% sulfur. It is also a component of numerous proteins and enzymes, thus involved in many metabolic processes. The body contains five times more sulfur than magnesium and forty times more sulfur than iron.
Soufrol also for oral use: Soufrol Arthro flex.
Ingredients: 1 g of Soufrol Sulfur Oil Bath contains 100 mg of Mesulfen and 700 mg of paraffin oil, along with excipients.
