It is harvested from a location in Jordan at the Dead Sea, which is 400 meters below sea level. Under extreme climatic conditions such as dryness and high oxygen content, the environment is particularly low in pollutants, ensuring that the natural product is free from any industrial and chemical additives.

The Dead Sea salt differs from our all-purpose Mediterranean salt in the composition of trace elements and has a slightly coarser texture.
